With 21+ action prompts to curate your own Fun Run, this low prep activity is suitable for homeschoolers and school-going children alike. Help your child playfully practice or review their Phase 2 Sounds and Sight words with a sweet reward at the end!

Decodable words have sound buttons beneath them, high frequency tricky words (words that are read by sight) are in bold, and the words which fit neither category at this stage are illustrated. We've also added a second version of the prompts without sound buttons. (Pictured above is the version without sound buttons)

Action prompts contain only* Phase Two (UK National Literacy Strategy) sounds and high frequency tricky words. *with the addition of the letter/j/ sound.

*Please note that some CCVC/CVCC words are included such as ‘skip’. These are decodable at this stage, though strictly speaking only CV and CVC words are introduced in Phase 2.*
